Brandy Alexander
Brandy graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature from Florida State University. She then earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she focused on Family Law and received a Family Law Certificate.
Brandy has successfully represented clients in Family Law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, contempt, and custody modifications. She also has experience in Criminal Law cases ranging from DUI and drug offenses to violent crimes like aggravated assaults and homicides.
As a Guardian ad Litem, Brandy serves as an investigator for the court, providing recommendations on what is in the child’s best interest regarding custody, parenting time, and other matters. She has had the honor of being appointed as a Guardian ad Litem by judges throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
In 2013, Brandy was featured in the Emmy-nominated HBO documentary “Gideon’s Army”. She was later honored in 2016 as Guardian of the Year by the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. From 2020 to 2025, she was named a Super Lawyer, a testament to her professional excellence. However, among all her achievements, her greatest accomplishment is being a mother. Brandy is also an active community leader and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
